I really enjoy time spent with good-hearted people. We are blessed to have the family and friends that we do, so I engage good people in conversation at every opportunity. My ideal work environment focuses on producing a magic an d awesome product.
I do programming, networking with Unix / Linux / Solaris… whatever, web development… I guess I’m the swiss-army-knife of the web. I come from the old school of web development where the webmaster was in charge of the site and basically did everything.
In 2012, I completed a certificate program in C/C++ at University of California, San Diego.
In 2011, I completed a certificate program in Database Administration at the University of Illinois.
In 2009, I took and passed the MySQL CMDBA exams.
In 2007, I was challenged to take the CIW Foundations exam. I took and passed it in July of 2007.
I am a web developer, DBA and server administrator with deep skills in Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP. I can also administer Cisco routers, switches and firewalls. I have some limited exposure to F5 load balancers and other network appliances.
I started web development in 1995 doing HTML in notepad and graphics in Photoshop and Corel Draw.
Okay, so basically I need some room online to make notes. So this is my notes site. If you see something outlandish, don’t be afraid to comment on it.
But hey, check out the links to the right. There’s some groovy stuff.
